Clinical Evidence

Several clinical trials provide clinical evidence of a significant improvement in cardiac care and reduction in hospital stay with PAP-guided heart failure management.

MONITOR-HF clinical trial

MONITOR-HF is the third randomized, controlled clinical trial globally confirming the significant health benefit and hospital cost savings of remote PAP monitoring for patients with moderate-to-severe HF.  (Ref 1,2,3,4)

Clinical evidence of improved quality of life and 44% reduction in HF hospitalizations

MONITOR-HF clinical trial enrolled 348 patients in 25 centers in the Netherlands

COAST clinical trial

COAST trial confirmed that hemodynamic-guided HF management, using remote PAP monitoring, significantly improves outcome and reduces hospitalizations for patients with symptomatic HF.  (Ref. 6)

COAST clinical trial enrolled 300 patients at 14 specialist centers in the UK

CHAMPION clinical trial

CHAMPION trial has shown that remote PAP–guided HF management leads to a 49% reduction in HF hospitalizations  and a 58% reduction in 30-day readmissions compared to the standard of care.  (Ref. 7,8,9)

CHAMPION clinical trial enrolled 550 patients in the US
